“About STP-I”


Society of Toxicologic Pathology – India
(STP-I) is a registered society under Karnataka Society Registration Act, 1960. The STP-I was established in 2004 as a nonprofit association of pathologists and other scientists whose principal aim is the advancement of pathology as it pertains to changes elicited by pharmacological, chemical, or environmental agents, and factors that modify these responses.
The Society’s 250 members in over the various countries are scientists and professionals who work in academic institutions, government, the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, contract research organizations, or as consultants.

About STP-I

The Society of Toxicologic Pathology – India (STP-I) is a registered professional body under the Karnataka Society Registration Act, 1960 (Registration No: 757/04-05). Founded in the year 2004, STP-I operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of toxicologic pathology. The society brings together a diverse community of pathologists, toxicologists, and scientists whose work primarily focuses on studying tissue changes brought about by pharmacological, chemical, and environmental agents. The field plays a crucial role in understanding mechanisms of toxicity, disease progression, and safety evaluation of substances, making STP-I a vital platform for professionals engaged in drug development, chemical risk analysis, and regulatory science.
